It’s been a while since my last F5oF because I have been traveling so much. I have a lot to catch you up on!

I attended a fun & fast solo trip to FL at the end of March. I stayed at the same hotel I honeymooned with Chris at in Tampa & attended Saturday of Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival + a trading pin party. Such a great day!

Sunday I was able to visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium with my cousin who lives in FL so it was great visiting with her & seeing the animals & care this center provides. I took a small stroll on the beach too & I was so happy to be in the warm sun & water after such a hard season here in Michigan.

Since we both work from home for the same company, I took a week & worked at Amber Marcella‘s house in Iowa. I had never been to Iowa before & this was a fun time for us to be together. We attended a cookie decorating class @ The Rose Farm, a few dinners (drink here is from RoCA), & had plenty of gal pal time. I even found a cool writing-themed rest stop near the University of Iowa, which is the host location of a famous writing workshop.

This week I was able to visit my cousin in Jackson. We had a great time together with lunch & then shopping (Jackson Candle Company, FarmSudz, & Nevermore Decor Store) & happy hour @ Veritas. I used to be downtown a lot in my early college days & it’s built up even more & more now.

When we were at Nevermore, the owner told us that the store hosted 2 tea parties each year, & 1 of them was going to be the next day. When my plans got canceled for rain, I snagged 1 of the last tickets & I am so glad that I did! We had tier trays filled with tea treats, 3 different teas to try, & we all were able to take home our cup & saucer & vase with a flower. Such a fun time!
